Our partners in Mbale, Uganda are doing their very best to keep their communities healthy in the face of the global coronavirus pandemic.

Motorbike ambulances are in more demand than ever to get people to hospital and health centres. Urgent funds are needed for fuel and repairs. The bikes are transporting mothers in labour and people who are ill  – saving lives.

Volunteer healthworkers are educating their rural village neighbours about how to prevent the spread of the virus and how to recognise symptoms – saving lives.

Will you help to make a difference in Mbale?

£20 could train four healthworkers

£10 keeps an ambulance on the road for a day

There’s a lot we can’t change about the current situation, but this is one thing we can do together
